Sun, sea and beach

In addition to sun, sea and beach, there is much to experience in the area. Think of places such as Zoutelande, Domburg, Oostkapelle, Westkapelle or the cities of Veere, Middelburg and Vlissingen. There are also places of interest such as the Neeltje Jans, the Delta Works, the Oranje Zon nature reserve, the Veerse Meer or the various museums in Zeeland.

A lot is also possible for the sporty visitor. Take the bike through the woods or along the dunes! Put on your running shoes and run a part of the most beautiful Zeeland coastal marathon.

Tired and hungry after a long day at the beach? Then go for a nice meal in Domburg or at one of the many beach pavilions. Near the Glamping location you will find many beautiful and nice beaches. The seaside resort Domburg with nice beach pavilion, restaurants and beautiful beaches is less than 2 kilometers. There are also entertainment venues in Domburg.

  • Swimming paradise De Parel

You can swim even in less beautiful weather. In Domburg at swimming paradise De Parel they have an indoor and outdoor pool, paddling pool, 79-meter slide, pelican dive, fast-flowing river and a play and sunbathing area.

Play

  • The Arsenal Pirate Park

At The Arsenal in Flushing, discover what life was like in the days of pirates. Stand face to face with a real shark, get to know exciting pirate attractions and scour the Westerschelde at a height of 65 meters.

  • Family amusement park Mini Mundi

The Mini Mundi family amusement park in Middelburg has an indoor playground, outdoor playground, the buildings of Walcheren in miniature and various attractions. With the Mini Mundi Express, a fun little train, you can explore the entire park!

  • Glowgolf

You can play a game of miniature golf outside almost anywhere, but inside, among the elephants, tigers and lions is really only possible in Middelburg. The fluorescent course is completely decorated as a jungle and is illuminated with blacklights.

At this fun museum in Vlissingen, you can experience in many ways what the sea means to Zeelanders. There’s a fun scavenger hunt and all sorts of games. For example, try piloting a ship safely to the port in Antwerp….

Nature

  • Reptile zoo Iguana Vlissingen

Step into the wonderful world of Reptile Zoo Iguana and stand face to face with its exotic inhabitants. Huge lizards, iguanas and snakes have found their home here. The reptile zoo takes in animals that cannot be returned to the wild.

  • Terra Maris – Oostkapelle

Terra Maris is the museum of nature and landscape of Zeeland. It is located in the beautiful nature reserve de Manteling in Oostkapelle and regularly organizes fun activities for kids such as beachcombing.

Oranjezon is the nature reserve of Walcheren.
