What is Glamping?

Glamping is a combination word combining Glamour and Camping. This is exactly what it is. It is camping but with the luxury of home. At our Glamping we offer various luxury accommodations.

What is the difference between Glamping and Camping?

The difference is in the luxury amenities offered at a Glamping. For example, at Glamping Essenhof you will have your own private bathroom and wonderfully made beds in the safari tents and Bell tents.

Price of glamping?

The price of Glamping depends on the type of accommodation and the period when you wish to vacation. We offer shorter and longer stays.

How can I see which accommodations are still available?

Through the search and book function you can see what is still available in the period that you want to stay with us.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed at our Glamping due to its small-scale and child-friendly nature.

Are groups allowed?

In consultation several accommodations can be booked at the same time. Please contact us via the contact form for more possibilities.

Arrival & departure

From what time may I arrive?

You can check in from 3 p.m. onwards. Arrivals after 21.00 are only possible after prior consultation.

When do I have to leave?

On the day of departure you must have left the tent by 11.00 at the latest.

Which days can I arrive and depart?

In high season our accommodations change mostly on Saturdays. Outside the high season you can arrive on any day except Sunday. Sunday is for us the rest day of the week where we pay extra attention to rest, space and family. We believe this is of value to every person. For this reason, you cannot arrive on Sunday but you can leave.

Accommodations and facilities

What kind of accommodations are there at the Glamping?

3x Safari tents with luxury bathroom facilities, full kitchen and terrace;

4x Bell tents with private bathroom in the sanitary building;

Camping pitches.

Do I need to bring bed linen?

No that is not necessary. Our Safari and Bell tents are equipped with bedding. Upon arrival, we have already made it for you.

Is there WiFi at the Glamping?

We have WiFi in the entire camping area. You can find the Wifi code in your tent and in the sanitary building.
