Welcome to our glamping in Aagtekerke!

If you book with us you will stay at Glamping Essenhof in the former farmyard of the van Dam family.

In 1989 we came with three children from South Holland to take over a farm here. This company is still located in Aagtekerke. A few years later we bought the only other pig farm in Aagtekerke and moved there as well. The pigs were moved and a large shed was built on the site of the old barn. There was also a mini-campsite here on the Pekelingseweg, which we ran for years. In recent years we have invested heavily in the campground. Now no more separate mobile homes and tents, but three Safari tents, 4 Bell tents, fully equipped so you can start your vacation! We also have accommodation for a few tents and small campers.

A few of our children are jointly responsible: Gert for the technical things, Jan for the administration, arrangements and bookings. Mother Anneke does the reception and cleaning and is the first point of contact. Besides running the camping they all have other work. Other family members help out when necessary and we can always call on their expertise.
